I am aka Sherri “Fairy” Fowler…..

My obsession for fairies has only been in the last few years. They are just so cute and so elusive. It all started with a fairy that I bought my daughter, Monica, many years ago. It sat in my garage for years, until my friend Tawney made me a fairy garden using a cracked pedestal sink. It sits outside my shed all summer long…and that is where Monica’s fairy resides.

I went a little crazy creating all kinds of things for my fairy garden…here are just a few pics

My Mother was an artist and passed along her creativity and inspiration. I attended Village Art School in Skokie back in the 70’s but my passion was reignited when I began painting again in 2005. I found Main Street Art Center in Lake Zurich, and have studied with many talented artists such as Frankie Johnson, Linda Lukachik, and Ann Feldman. I also had the wonderful opportunity of taking several classes with the world renowned artist Gerardo Valerio Trigueros. He taught me how to create clouds and how to embrace using paint…right out of the tube. I feel very lucky to have had the opportunity to create many paintings using Chelsey’s beautiful photographs.
